Based on your VA File, it appears the VA had mailed you a notification letter explaining that because you received military drill/training pay while receiving VA Benefits, the VA requires you to complete the VA Form 21-8951 Notice of Waiver of VA Compensation or Pension to Receive Military Pay and Allowances.
You cannot receive both VA Disability Compensation and drill/training pay at the same time. The VA will send a notice each time you have drill/training to see which option of payment you would like to choose from, either drill/training pay, or VA Disability Compensation pay.
In the future, if you receive this form again, you will need to complete VA Form 21-8951. Below are the instructions for completing this form by hand.
This form can be completed online and submitted directly to the VA from your portal. You may also call the Debt Management Center at 800-827-0648 (TTY: 711). They are available Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. ET. The Debt Management Center should be able to assist you with the next available steps for your situation.
If you would like to work with the Debt Management Center to resolve this in another way or make the changes to the dates on the form, you must contact the Debt Management Center directly at 1-800-827-0648 from 6:30 AM to 6 PM CT Monday through Friday.
