Install, Setup and Basic Usage - 10-20mins approx.

  1. Extract the installation file and settings file from the .zip

  2. Completely close Outlook.

  3. run the install, click through the install, “Typical” will suffice. *You must use this install file, it is not available on the developers website because it has specific bug fixes that I requested.*Let the installer start Outlook at the end.

  4. Use Classic Ribbon by right clicking it and clicking ‘Use Classic Ribbon’. Right click the Ribbon and move B&W closer to the left where it will be easier for you to access.

  5. Input the License code: 2G1V3-3S74M-RWU5M-19UE2-XP2HM

  6. Configure outlook settings.

    1. General:
      1. Store my outlook settings in the cloud, check off
      2. Always use these values, check off
    2. Mail:
      1. Compose messages in this format: HTML
      2. Stationery and fonts, Set all to Georgia size 11 (or whatever you prefer but the templates use Georgia size 11)
    3. Accessibility
      1. Disable accessibility options.

  7. Turn off auto-updates in B&W

  8. Import the Settings file

  9. Configure B&W, move your profile to the top. Make sure its the one selected and change up the options in B&W, these will auto-save to your profile. A greeting and your signature are already set up for you, feel free to disable the greeting if you’d like. You can modify your signature but try not to stray too far from what we have so there is uniformity.

  10. Click New Mail or Reply to an email and use the drop downs in the toolbar to select the default OSDRI header from the OSDRI Category. Fill in the subject and recipients for new emails.

  11. Make certain that the pointer is ACTIVELY focused inside the body of the email, as if you were going to type in the email yourself. (THIS MAY NOT ALWAYS BE NECESSARY) Click ‘Insert’ button on the tool bar.

  12. Select the desired body module(s) from the drop down in the tool bar and insert them one by one.

  13. Some of the modules will have parameters that you will have to fill-in before the module is inserted into the email. Fill these fields in and MAKE SURE TO PRESS ENTER upon finishing each field for your input to be accepted.

Optional, if you don’t remember to do these then it’s not a big deal. In the future, this may become a requirement.
